Brushes I Use to Paint my Clouds
In this guide, I share the types of brushes I use to paint my clouds. These brushes all have a few things in common: they are round, pointed, natural hog bristle, and in medium large to extra large sizes.
The brand names don’t matter, what matters are the brush specifications.
Since not all brands are available worldwide, I’ve included regional supplier links in the guide to help you find brushes locally.
I am always happy to help you find this type of brush in your area if the links included did not have cover your area.

Tamara Holcom
"Salma’s class was a game changer for getting dimension and depth in my clouds. Even though she is more of an acrylic painter and I use oil, we were able to make it work quite easily.
She was very patient and even offered advice for a commissioned piece that I was working on. I was struggling with perspective and her advice was spot on. It really made the difference in my piece.
She’s a gem and I highly recommend her classes."

"I saw her work with clouds and absolutely had to purchase the tutorial. I found the correct brushes and went to town.
The blending and techniques taught will forever be in my art journey arsenal and I'm eternally grateful for this course:)"
Viktoria McQueen
"Fantastic course for those who want to learn how to paint clouds. Salma gives a detailed explanation of different painting techniques, why those should be used and when. She also explains how to choose brushes and paints.
Length of one lesson is a step, after which you can take time and practice your skills before starting the next lesson. No need to pause or rewind. Salma demonstrates each painting technique in the way it is easy to understand and practice for someone who is just starting to paint. It is incredibly easy to navigate the tutorial and do it on your own pace.
After taking the course, with practice, not only I am confident in my skills to paint clouds, but also encouraged to look up in the sky and notice all the beauty of shapes and colours.
Thank you Salma!"
